The main purpose of WMU is to educate and involve preschoolers, children, youth, and adults in the cause of Christian missions. Through Biblically sound, age-appropriate resources, we seek to energize, motivate, and equip all ages for missions involvement. Ongoing missions education opportunities develop believers who are informed about God’s mission in the world; they become fully engaged Christians who recognize and accept personal responsibility for sharing the love of Christ with others.
At Harper Creek Baptist Church, the WMU is responsible for the following: teach missions, engage in mission action, support world missions through praying and giving, and provide and interpret information regarding the work of the church and denomination.
WMU meets once a month on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30 in the fellowship hall.
